Equinoxe Yachts International is pleased to announce that the classic sailing yacht ELECTA has been sold, with EYI Senior broker Alex Mazzoni representing the seller and Enrico Mortola of Mortola Yacht & Ship Brokers representing the buyer.

Electa is a 38 mt very comfortable classic sailing yacht, built in 1990 by CCYD for her first Japanese Owner and previously named Mariya Uno. In 1999 she was purchased by his second and last European Owner and then renamed Il Doge. Having undergone an extensive refit by Giorgetti & Magrini, she finally became Electa under the same Owner. Her naval architecture was developed by Ron Holland Design, while the interior design is a work of Tommaso Spadolini.
Electa can accommodate 8 guests in 4 ample and cosy cabins, 3 located aft and 1 fore the saloon. The foredeck provides generous space for the galley, the crew area and 2 crew cabins. In the same area, a large fridge allows a long stay at sea.
Electa has a record for sailing across the oceans and her Owner has carefully kept the vessel for the last 22 years, sailing from the top of the world to the equator. The boat has always been for private use only and run by the same Captain.
