And who better than our partner Alex Mazzoni to flank you as you personalise your yacht? Alex has over 40 years’ experience as both a vendor and a buyer in the yacht sector. In the course of his career, he has worked with a long list of owners, many of whom remain his friends to this day. Alex has also personally owned three Baglietto yachts over the last three decades and has explored more than 30,000 miles of Mediterranean coastline aboard them.
Owning a yacht is both a great pleasure and huge fun. That said, it also demands a wide range of expertise, something Alex is only too well aware of, thanks to his long career as an owner and broker.
In the last 40 years, he has project-managed the builds of several different yachts and has availed of the skills of expert technical, legal and tax consultants as part of that work. These collaborations helped guarantee that all of the very delicate stages leading up to launch were handled optimally in terms of deadlines and budget.
Alex Mazzoni is currently compiling the Baglietto yard’s archive, which dates all the way back to 1854, in order prevent the loss of the historic and cultural legacy of one of Italy’s most renowned and important yards.
