The sailing yacht Capricorno (previously named Morning Glory) was built by McConaghy in 1995. She was originally conceived and built as an enduring and sophisticated performance racer, with sober interiors and essential furnishings. Completely refitted afterwards, Capricorno partially preserves the original concept, but with a more modern, luxurious and classy appeal thanks to the interior extensive upgrade by Nauta Design. Her distinctive character as one of the most successful and steady regatta racers hasn’t changed, though.
Her exterior and interior are styled by the well-known Reichel Pugh Design Studio, who is also responsible for the entire engineering package. The layout features 3 cabins (1 owner and 2 twin) designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, and 1 cabin for the 2 crew members. Her power comes from a 160hp Yanmar 4LHA-HTP diesel engine.
