Morgana is a 71′ cruiser-racer sailing yacht, launched by Arredomar shipyard in 1992 on a design of Bruce Farr and Vismara. The yacht was commissioned by a seasoned owner who wanted to develop a project based on sleek, clean and essential lines. Particular attention was paid to weight saving as a significant performance factor. Also the choice of using kevlar/epoxy sandwich composite for the hull has been inspired by the same principle.
The result is this light-displacement custom sloop, representing the perfect combination of outstanding performance and comfort. Morgana is designed for easy handling, being the perfect boat to sail with family or a small group of friends.
The modern and elegant interior layout boasts 4 cabins offering accommodation for up to 8 guests, and a crew area for up to 2 people. Decks are finished in teak, with a beam of 5.8 mt and a draft of 4 mt.
The design of both the interiors and the deck enhance the yacht’s elegance. The cockpits are generous while the deckhouse is low and harmonious with large sun pad areas. The various sail controls are cleverly and neatly distributed to ensure the deck is as uncluttered and easy to move around as possible. Below decks, the materials, workmanship and furniture design are all sophisticated. However, particular attention was lavished on the layout to make the spaces genuinely human-sized, so that they guarantee a sense of privacy and exceptional liveability.
The separate service areas lie forward: the galley, crew cabin, sail locker with workbench and independent exit for the crew. The onboard plant and auxiliaries are all top class too: generator, water-maker, air con and hydraulic control unit for the winches and anchor windlass. The machinery is located in two easily accessible areas of the boat.
She is currently located in La Spezia, with an asking price of € 670.000. Morgana has been impeccably well maintained and is now ready for her new owner.
